Biography
Raymond Delos Reyes is a first-generation Filipino American, Seattle native. Raymond currently provides public defense services in King County for dependency cases.
Raymond received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and his JD from Seattle University School of Law. His prior experience includes working in litigation and municipal practice areas, and as a public defender with the King County Department of Public Defense.
In addition to his work, Raymond is a 2016 Fellow of the Washington Leadership Institute, serves on its Advisory Board, and was a long-time board member of the Filipino Lawyers of Washington. He was also an adjunct professor at the SU School of Law and an affiliate professor at the UW School of Law. Raymond also served as a Judge, Pro Tem for the City of Edmonds. Most recently, Raymond was appointed by Governor Jay Inslee to serve on the Washington State Clemency and Pardons Board in July 2023.Raymond lives in Columbia City with his son. When he is not working, Raymond spends time playing various sports, enjoys live music and reading the liner notes of records he collects.
